Sam: A very good friend of mine, whose site contains a recipe for Cheese Jello with Spam Chunks. (Really.) Be sure to find the page that demonstrates the difference between a fish and Senator Orrin Hatch. (Again, really.)

Dynamanga: Dirk is another good friend of mine, who happens to be the only American I've ever encountered who can draw Manga properly. His comics are actual comic-quality comics, which is something of a rarity on the web.

The Other Jason: Jason and I have a long-standing friendly feud over who gets to be Jason prime and who gets to be the other Jason. This the weblog of the Jason in San Francisco.

Dada Online: John's showcase of Dadaist art, which is an art form I have completely failed to comprehend. But I think that failing to comprehend it is kind of the whole point, so yay me.

StarDestroyer.net: A guy named Mike Wong demonstrates (with full scientific rigor) that if the Star Wars universe met the Star Trek universe, the Empire would mop the floor with the Federation. A neat take on some familiar sci-fi subjects. Plus (and this is a sentence I never thought I'd find myself saying), his fanfic actually isn't half bad.

Science Fiction Writers of America: Although I'm not a member of this organization, I am an aspiring science fiction writer, and SFWA's site has all sorts of really useful (and often entertaining) articles on both the art and business of writing.

SciTech Daily Review: A news-collector site that links to all sorts of fascinating articles regarding (you'll never guess) science and technology. If you can't find at least half a dozen things here that you find interesting, I don't want to talk to you.

Astronomy Picture of the Day: Every day, a new stunning space image. I've gotten many a desktop wallpaper from this site.

Dan's Data: A computer hardware and software review site based out of Australia. The guy running it (named Dan, as you might guess) has a humorous writing style that can accomplish the impossible task of making you really enjoy a review of a CPU cooler.
